Meet Your Nurse Practitioner
Heyyyy, I’m Ashley, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and my journey in healthcare spans over 15 fulfilling years. My passion for caring began early in life, witnessing my mother’s devoted work as a care provider for several individuals. At six years old, I started helping her with her patients, igniting a deep desire to become a nurse myself.
My career took off as an LVN in 2009, and I continued to grow, becoming a Registered Nurse in 2011. I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings, from fast-paced hospital environments to nurturing nursing homes. However, it was my time spent in the home health setting and reflecting on my previous experiences that opened my eyes to the impact of chronic diseases on the body and the importance of health promotion and disease prevention.
In 2016, my dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner came true, and since then, I’ve dedicated more than 7 years to providing comprehensive primary care to individuals of all ages, from six months old to end-of-life. Throughout my journey, I’ve faced personal health challenges, and struggled with obesity. Yet, these experiences have only deepened my commitment to focus and specialize in obesity medicine, preventive care and hormonal optimization.
I am presently a member of the Obesity Medicine Association. My dedication lies in continual learning and an enthusiastic engagement within my community, all aimed at enhancing awareness of and expertise in obesity management I firmly believe in the power of disease prevention and understand the vital role it plays in maintaining overall health and well-being. My firsthand experiences have strengthened my resolve to establish this medical weight loss and wellness clinic, where we are committed to offering unique, high-quality healthcare centered around health promotion and disease prevention.
